Motivational Interviewing to Enhance Behavioral Change in Older Adults with Hoarding Disorder: A Randomized Clinical Trial

The overall goal of this project is to test the ability of Motivational Interviewing (MI) to increase sorting and discarding behaviors in 60 older adults with hoarding disorder using a 16-week randomized controlled trial comparing MI and sorting practice (RECLAIM; Reducing Clutter and Increasing Meaning) with sorting practice (SP) only.
